This trip is exactly what Sam and I needed....we're having a great time!
Let's see....what did we do today.... we took a cable car down to the Fisherman's Wharf area so we could walk to where we were getting on a boat to see Alcatraz. (By the way, we lugged our huge camera bag.....only to realize....idiot Rachel left the battery charging in the hotel!!!) So....69.00 later, we now have an extra battery. Oh well, good to have, I guess!
The visit to Alcatraz was pretty neat .... and then we had lunch, back to our hotel to change, had our pictures taken by a local photographer and then to the baseball game. The pictures WOULD have turned out great, but it was soooooooooo incredibly windy, more than half of them are ruined because my hair was standing straight up, or in Sam's eyes. There were a couple of really good ones, and the photographer was great. Unfortunately we didn’t get a whole bunch of great ones because of the wind --- it was either in my eyes, or Sam’s eyes…grr…
