Urgent Prayers Needed!!!

Friends, Familes and Strangers who happen upon our page...

My brother-in-law, Rick, found out today that his fifteen year old niece Carly has Lymphoma. They apparently just diagnosed it and they are unsure of whether it's Hodgkin's or Non-Hodgkin's at this point....we are waiting for more information.

Apparently Carly had a fever that wasn't breaking and the took her to the pediatrician and they asked her to take a throat culture (thinking Strep) but she couldn't do it without gagging so they decided just to do a blood test. This is how they found out. Can you imagine?

Please, please, say a prayer for Carly. She's a beautiful and very active fifteen year old girl. This world needs her and Rick's family needs all the prayers they can get right now to help them through this difficult time. I can't even imagine what they're going through right now - only to say that there are so many support groups and people who can help them get through this.

Thank you in advance because I know you will all send up as many prayers as you can....
Love,

Rachel

PS: I've recently been following the story of a little boy named Coleman Scott Larson who has cancer - he is a twin and his mom has basically been keeping a play-by-play blog/diary of what is going on through their journey as they found out about his illness, through his treatments, etc. If you care to check it out, go to
http://www.carepages.com/ and then click on visit a carepage, then type in colemanscott. This family is wonderful - all the support from the hundreds and hundreds of people is astonishing ... and I think this is a case where you really see the true connection "twins" have.
